Vernissage 4 x B

in de bibliotheek Sans Souci,

In 4 x B legt de lokale kunstenaar Filip Van Zandycke de gelijkenissen en overlappingen tussen België en Servië bloot.

De vernissage staat dan ook volledig in het teken van het kruispunt waar België, Brussel, Belgrade en Beograd elkaar treffen.

Zo wordt u die avond welkom geheten door de Elsense Schepen van Nederlandstalige Aangelegenheden Pascal Dufour en de Ambassadeur van Servië, de heer Radomir Diklic, dit alles omkaderd door Servische muziek en hapjes. De Belgische kant nodigt de Elsense dichter Jozef Estes uit, die speciaal voor 4 x B zijn bevindingen neerschreef – en ze voorleest voor u.

Ana Marjanovic commence sa formation de violoniste à Belgrade et poursuit ses études musicales en France au Conservatoire de Versailles où elle obtient plusieurs prix. Elle est diplômée de l’Institut Gnessine de Moscou et du Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles. Elle a remporté le premier prix du Concours International de Paris (Fondation Lucy Tassard). Sa sensibilité artistique l’amène à explorer conjointement la puissance humaniste de la musique symphonique et l’expressivité intimiste de la musique de chambre.

Boban Bjelic a étudié à l’école secondaire de musique « Stankovic » de Belgarde avant d’obtenir, à l’Institut Gnessine de Moscou, une maîtrise d’accordéon et un diplôme de direction d’orchestre symphonique et d’opéra.

ECF’s new round for Collaboration grants opens today, 18 January, and applications need to be received by 1 March 2011. ECF supports arts and cultural activities throughout wider Europe and the Collaboration grants are a key example of this on-going work.    

 

The Collaboration grants provide funds for cross-border activities for cultural organisations in partnership with other organisations. In these times of reduced national cultural budgets the Collaboration grants can fill gaps for new projects who want to create artistic work  in other European countries, with partners.
